1. Unless otherwise stated, the client is in charge of the music selection and the order of events.
2. The client agrees to provide a sufficient, electrical power supply outlet within 25 feet of the designated disc jockey’s setup location.
3. If the setup location is outside, the client agrees to provide adequate shelter, to protect the equipment from adverse weather conditions.
4. Ruth-Ann Geelen does not guarantee the availability of her services, beyond the contracted time. Or if the number of guests is less than 20 unless prior knowledge is given of a small group event.
5. The client agrees to pay pre determined non-refundable deposit to reserve his / her event date. Ruth-Ann Geelen holds reservations made by phone for 10 days to allow shipping time of the deposit and signed contract. Failure to respond within 10 days may result in cancellation.
6. The remaining balance is due and payable within the first two hours of the event. If special arrangements are made to make final payment at the event end. Payments made after the event date are subject to a late charge of $50.
7. The client accepts full liability for all damages to any equipment in the possession of Ruth-Ann Geelen that occur as a result of intentional or unintentional actions, or neglect upon the part of the client or his / her guests, patrons, customers, students, etc.
8. Ruth-Ann Geelen will not be held liable for unavoidable detention by, conditions or acts of God legitimately beyond her control.
9. In the unlikely event that Ruth-Ann Geelen is unable to perform at the event, and a replacement cannot be found, she will make a full refund of any deposits or payments made by the client. The client agrees that the refund will be the full extent of damages that he / she is entitled to, and no further damages may be sought against her.
10. Ruth-Ann Geelen will not be held liable for any damage or harm, to property or persons, unless such is caused by gross or wanton negligence on the part of the her.
