A friendly owner operated DJ Company offering a eclectic approach to your up coming event. DJ Rue has been serving the City of Kawartha Lakes for over 15 years. She began her entertainment career doing the music between whistles at local Junior A and Junior C hockey games and has always had a hard time letting go of her love of playing music and getting people to "move". In 2003 she decided this was going to be her passion and began offering her service full time. She added Karaoke to her line up and continues to offer entertainment for all kinds of events in the Lindsay and surrounding area. She has worked various weeknights and weekends at local pubs in the town of Lindsay, but in late 2009, for family reasons has returned to only offering her service at private functions. Ruth-Ann performs at private functions on the weekend evenings all year long. Her musical style is one that many can't match. She plays everything from country to top 40, oldies to 80's. Ruth-Ann never keeps the dancers back. She mixes country rock and dance all in the same sets. Ruth-Ann strives to get all generations at your event up and enjoying themselves TOGETHER!! She will discuss your crowds likes and dislikes with you before hand and always takes requests. Ruth-Ann has been serving many local buisness and clubs with their entertainment needs. A few examples of some of her partnerships are Employees of City of Kawartha Lakes, Para-Med, CIBC, Kawartha Kavaliers, NG, Lindsay Irish House, Royal Canadian Legion, Lindsay Muskies, Caresant Care McLaughlin House, Coach & Horses Pub, Many Departments within Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay downtown BIA, Oakwood Figure Skating Club, Mariposa - Ops - Cannington Minor Hockey as well as many other organized sporting clubs. She performs at many private functions such as Fundraisers, Weddings (and Ceremonies), Jack and Jill's, Anniversarys and Birthdays. She is willing to work with all budgets,and any type of enviroment from an Arena and Halls to Barns and Outside Functions. Her rates start at $350 and are suited to each individual event. Prices are not based on type of event but equipment needed and times you require. Discounts are offered for funraising and repeat customers. References are always available and Quotes are free.
